Last days before alpha: we rebuilt the map on canvas

Alpha lands May 31, 2026. The last sprint was the biggest single rewrite since the AI rebuild - we tore out the SVG map and shipped a canvas renderer. 4x zoom went from 9 FPS to 167-200 FPS. Plus 280+ playable-nation pages, UI polish, and final combat tuning. Here is everything that changed.
